Barn Work Party with Community Shepherds!
Community Shepherds, a Petaluma nonprofit, is hosting its very first event at Sunbeam, an adult volunteer work party to improve and prepare Sunbeam's vintage redwood barn for safely sheltering our own flock of sheep. Come give a hand in some building projects!

About the event
TASKS:
- strengthening/refurbishing the sliding barn door
- closing up holes
- building a wall with gate to separate the storage area of the barn from the sheep area
WHAT TO WEAR:
- layers and weather-appropriate clothing layers that can get dirty
- sturdy shoes for navigating uneven ground and natural elements
WHAT TO BRING:
- gloves
- bottle of water
- hat/sunscreen
WE WILL PROVIDE:
- tools, instruction and guidance
- snacks
- water refill station
- hugs, if you're into them
Please RSVP so that we can plan to have enough help to get things accomplished! *Kids are welcome if fully supervised by another non-working responsible caregiver. Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness.
