Dia de Los Muertos at Sunbeam!
We invite you to join us in a family-friendly, inclusive celebration of a meaningful holiday in the Mexican culture: Dia de los Muertos! Children and adults of all ages are welcome! Guided by our beloved Ms. Raquel Macias, this will be a lighthearted and beautiful event.

About the event
Here's what you can expect at our Dia de los Muertos event:
1. **Altar of Remembrance:** We will have a beautifully decorated altar where you are invited to bring photos or mementos of your loved ones to honor and remember them.
2. **Art and Crafts:** There will be art and craft stations for children to create traditional Dia de los Muertos crafts like making lanterns (with battery candles), papel picado or decorating paper skulls.
3. **Traditional Food:** You can savor traditional Mexican tamales and a hibiscus beverage that are part of this celebration.
4. **Music** Enjoy traditional music and dance that captures the spirit of Dia de los Muertos.
We encourage you and your family to join us in celebrating this meaningful holiday. It's an opportunity for our students to learn about different cultures and traditions while also fostering a sense of community and enjoying the natural atmosphere of our farm school.
